Annual Chinese New Year Gala Silent Auction

Every year during Chinese New Year, the KCCAA Youth Hope Fund hosts a silent auction at the JCCC Chinese New Year ceremony. Leaders would help facilitate this event by collecting items in one of four categories: tea/teapots, cultural items, gift cards, and miscellaneous items. Volunteers would help make sure the event runs smoothly by helping with checkout, checking guests in to the event, setting out items and bid sheets, running the activities section of the event, and answering any questions that guests may have.

The bake sale is a fundraiser that the Youth Hope Fund has been hosting for the past few years. Members of the Youth Hope Fund would bring a variety of home cooked dishes to sell to customers to raise funds for future projects.

The Annual KCCAA Youth Hope Fund Leaf Raking Event is a volunteering opportunity that supports a charity chosen by the Youth Hope Fund. Volunteers would rake leaves for a number of houses in need each year and donate the money collected to the selected charity.
